What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Actuarial Associate to support IFRS17 preparation and actuarial modeling, streamline reporting, conduct experience studies, perform sensitivity analysis, and improve process efficiency.

What are we expecting from this role?
  • Support IFRS17 preparation and implementation, collaborating closely with local Finance, Group Finance, and external consultants.
  • Assist with actuarial modeling and projects based on Group and Local regulator guidelines, including prophet modeling and data processing.
  • Streamline the end-to-end reporting process among Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, utilizing excel templates and enhancing reporting processes holistically.
  • Ensure proper documentation, methodologies, procedures, and control validation of reporting tasks.
  • Provide support for experience studies, including mortality, morbidity, expense, persistency, and investment experience.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis of financial metrics.
  • Assist the manager with additional tasks as required by management to improve overall process efficiency in line with transformation initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Who are we looking for?
  • Degree in mathematics, finance, economics, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant areas related to Actuarial.
  • Demonstrated progress or track record in pursuing actuarial exams from a recognized actuarial body.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and control validation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced team environment.
