What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior, Actuarial Manager to maintain a centralized valuation model, implement Prophet software in our Laos and Myanmar business units, and drive process enhancements for improved efficiency.

What are we expecting from the role?
  • Take ownership of model control and maintenance, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of a centralized valuation model for both reporting and business planning purposes.
  • Lead the implementation of Prophet software for business units in Laos and Myanmar, leveraging its capabilities to support their operations effectively.
  • Provide guidance and innovative ideas to the team for process enhancements, including streamlining day-to-day operations and implementing improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support system implementation and data migration projects, such as policy administration systems, ensuring smooth transitions and integration.
  • Drive the preparation and implementation of IFRS17, including conducting impact assessments, generating solutions, evaluating suitable methods for adoption, and effectively communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.


Who are we looking for?
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in the Actuarial field in a life insurance company.
  • Competency in using actuarial software, including Prophet, is a must.
  • Good progress towards actuarial professional qualification is preferred.
  • The candidate should possess good conceptual, analytical, and financial skills.
  • Strong communication skills, MS Office, influencing, and presentation skills are required.
  • An understanding of accounting principles is desirable.
